A person was stabbed and critically injured in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood on Friday morning.
The male, whose age was not disclosed, was inside a residence around 3 a.m. when a female grabbed a knife and repeatedly stabbed him in the 2300 block of South Avers Avenue, according to police.
The victim was stabbed in the chest and both arms. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.
A knife was found at the scene.
As Area Four detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
