A 27-year-old man was arrested in Cleveland County on Friday after he allegedly uploaded child pornography to a social media platform.
Cleveland County deputies responded to a home in Newalla on June 2 after they received a tip that a resident at a home had uploaded child porn to social media.
When deputies arrived to serve a search warrant at the home, they said the suspect, Luis Jurado-Ruiz, was at work, but other family members were present.
Deputies served the search warrant and investigators seized electronic evidence.
“We will not allow our children to be victimized, to be exploited, to be targeted in Cleveland County,” said CCSO Sheriff Chris Amason. “We will come after you, we will find you, and we will put you in jail.”
The investigation ultimately led to the arrest of Jurado-Ruiz. He was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center for possession/distribution of child pornography.
Investigators say the victim from the images appeared to be under the age of 10 years old.
