Florida – Woman Shreds Her Mustang Tires Fleeing From Cops At Over 110 MPH
A Florida woman fled from police at over 110 mph in a Ford Mustang and was subsequently arrested, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say that 59-year-old Barbara Ray was driving a Ford Mustang and fled from an attempted traffic stop early Thursday morning.
“The vehicle was traveling at such a high rate of speed southbound on US-1 that deputies were unable to get into a safe position to deploy stop sticks before the vehicle entered I-95 northbound,” said FCSO.
Deputies positioned themselves at the I-95 exits in case the vehicle exited.
A deputy spotted the vehicle exit I-95 onto SR 100 at a high rate of speed and attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop, fleeing at over 100 mph.
Flagler County Deputy Stanford and Bunnell PD Officer Kilpatrick successfully deployed Stop Sticks in the vehicle’s path near the Flagler County Courthouse.
