RawNews1st – The Montgomery County, KS Sheriff’s Office recovered thousands of fentanyl pills hidden inside a PVC pipe found on the ground.
They got a tip about the pills and took custody of them.
These pills are commonly called, “Dirty-Thirty” pills because they’re made to look like oxycodone pills, but are much more deadly.
They recovered a total of 5,354 fentanyl pills with a street value of around $321,240.
Sheriff Ron Wade thanked the person who found the PVC pipe and called it in.
He says that number of pills could’ve killed almost 18% of the population in Montgomery County, if they had ended up in the wrong hands.
He says drug dealers and the cartel are always trying to disguise the these pills to attract young people.
