Back in March 2020, Dugg, real name Dion Marquise Hayes, 28, was arrested for for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Federal agents received a tip that he was firing a gun at an Atlanta gun range.
Prior to, Dugg, was convicted on carjacking charges, and not permitted to possess any weapons.
On August 9, 2021, Dugg pleaded guilty to the felony firearm indictment, and things looked pretty rough for Dugg.
But on November 8, things appeared to turn around, with Dugg scoring a victory in court.
It was revealed that the “Maybach” rapper would not have to serve any time in prison, instead he would only need to serve three years of probation.
Then things took another turn on December 10, 2021, when Dugg was ordered back to court over several positive test results for use of controlled substances, plus an arrest in Nevada for Obstruction of Law Enforcement and Battery, while on probation.
So, on February 1, 2022, the judge in Dugg’s case revoked his probation and ordered him to do six months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release.
