After crashing their car into a brick fence in south suburban Flossmoor on Tuesday night, one person died and another was injured.
According to police, the crash occurred at 10:48 p.m. near 2827 Volmer Road when a 1999 Chrysler left the roadway and crashed into a brick fence.
According to police, one person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
The Flossmoor Police Department is investigating, as is the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team.
