First responders were called to the single-vehicle crash around 3:45 a.m.
A 41-year-old man was driving a 1999 Ford E350 van northwest on Glenway Avenue when Cincinnati police say the vehicle went off the road and hit a utility pole in a residential front yard.
The driver, along with a 29 and 28-year-old passenger, were taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries, police explained.
The 41-year-old is in critical condition, while the other two are stable, according to police.
While police are investigating to determine what caused the crash, they did say speeding does not appear to be a factor. As for possible impairment, officers are investigating.
Call the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514 if you witnessed the crash.
James Queen lives on Glenway Avenue and says he is no stranger to seeing crashes on this stretch of road.
