A 2-vehicle accident near Salina has claimed the life of a Salina woman.
26-year-old Daisha J. Endsley of Salina was killed in the accident, which happened just after 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. She was the passenger in a vehicle that had pulled onto the shoulder of northbound I-135 near mile marker 87.6, which is just south of Waterwell Rd. in Salina.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Toyota Tundra driven by 20-year-old Abygail E. Aaron of Wichita was traveling south.
For reasons unknown, Aaron crossed the center median and struck the vehicle Endsley occupied with driver Jose M. Rodriguez, also of Salina.
All of the people involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.
