Authorities shot and killed a suspect who entered a Target store armed with a gun and began firing on Tuesday.

Schmaderer said the man had “plenty of ammunition” and that evidence suggests he fired multiple rounds, but it wasn’t immediately known if he fired at anyone.
Police said there were no reports of any injuries, adding there a motive has not been determined.
KPTM spoke to Target employees Lauren Murphy and Samuel Jacobsen. Murphy said she was on her break in the front restroom when she heard what she thought was a gun shot.
Jacobson said a co-worker ran by him when he was working and yelled, “He’s got a gun.”
“So, I left the store,” he said. “We hid behind the store.”
Murphy said she was afraid she was going to get killed.
“I was scared that this was how I might die at work,” she said. “It was just terrifying.”
Police praised employees for their bravery as they helped get shoppers out of the store.
