A teacher at Royal Palm Beach Community High School has been arrested after he was discovered with a gun and knife on campus.
In a letter sent out to parents on Thursday, the school said teacher Robert Krasnicki was arrested by a School District Police officer, who confiscated both weapons.
Krasnicki, 42, from Riviera Beach, was taken to jail and the school said he will not return to the school in the future. Krasnicki is a math teacher.
“I think it’s crazy. I mean I had the teacher and he’s a really chill and cool guy. He was nice to everybody in his class,” said Haven Eaton, a student at Royal Palm Beach High School.
Students seem to question why Krasnicki brought the weapons to school.
“I think it’s kind of crazy. I don’t know why he would bring it to be honest. There’s no reason to,” said Aiden Chacon, a student at Royal Palm Beach High School.
