Bethlehem police are investigating a shooting Thursday evening that sent one person to the hospital.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the 1100 block of Dover Lane just before 9 p.m. Thursday. Officers found shell casings, live rounds and damage to a nearby vehicle and home at the scene.
One adult male victim was injured in the shooting, according to a news release from Bethlehem police. He was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, and is in stable condition.
Officers arrested Heriberto Reyes Garcia, 21, of Bethlehem, who allegedly admitted to being involved in the shooting. He faces charges of attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault and possessing instruments of crime. He is in police custody awaiting arraignment on the charges.
