Texas – An Uvalde mom who was handcuffed by police for trying to rush into the Robb Elementary School to save her two kids says from the deadly shooting said police.

Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) Police Department, who handcuffed her and held other parents back when they tried entering the school during the shooting to try and save their kids.
After sharing her story with news outlets, Gomez claimed she received a call from law enforcement warning her that if she keeps speaking to the media, she might face legal troubles for a probation that she has from charges filed more than a decade ago, CBS reported.
Despite the warning, Gomez said she was encouraged to continue sharing her story by the judge overseeing her probation, who reportedly told the mom that her bravery would be rewarded and assured her that her probation would not be affected.
It comes as CISD Police Chief Pete Arredondo continues to face backlash for failing to send in a tactical team fast enough to end the 18-year-old gunman, Salvador Rolando Ramos, rampage that killed 19 students and their two teachers.
