Tacoma Man Makes First Appearance In Court After Police Say He Shot, Killed His 24-Year-Old Girlfriend In Front of Her 3 Young Children
This is the 21-year-old accused of killing his girlfriend in front of her three young children last week in Tacoma.
He made his first court appearance just hours ago.
Tellieun Harvey has been charged with domestic violence murder and aggravated assault against a child.
Police arrested him on Wednesday, a day after 24-year-old Elsa Simpson was found dead inside her apartment on Pacific Avenue.
Neighbors heard Simpson’s young children crying, saying their mother was dead.
Investigators say the three kids witnessed their mother’s murder.
It’s still unclear what led up to the deadly shooting.
The children remain in protective custody.
