Erie, Pennsylvania: Police are investigating a shooting at Erie High School that injured one person Tuesday morning.
Officers were called for a shooting victim just before 9:30 a.m. One person was shot, is in good condition and has been taken to the UPMC Hamot for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Erie Police.
The hospital’s emergency department was briefly on lockdown.
The shooting suspect is not in custody, school officials told Erie News Now around 10:40 a.m. Erie Police Deputy Chief Mike Nolan said he could not comment on the suspect or say if that person was in custody.
