Low Blow for Joe: All-time (dis)approval benchmark of 42%
Biden is riding his luck according to the latest poll from NPR/Marist, that staked his approval rating at just 42% – the lowest since taking office.
Various factors have been cited, including a 30-year high inflation rate that has shot up 6.2% in the 12 months ending in October, rocketing food and gas prices, and a panicked release of 50MN barrels of oil from reserve stocks (Which Trump took claim for even having in the first place).
His handling of the economy specifically matches his overall approval, and marks a 12% drop from April.
