Leaked 13-page Instagram report details creator anger over equity & racial discrimination – limiting social activism
Concerns over transparency, equity and discrimination have been flagged following a leaked Instagram document that detailed creator reactions. (Business Insider)
From a test initiated earlier this year, the Meta-owned platform apparently limited social activism and its shareability online – by preventing feed posts being shared as stories.
“How can you as a company state that you’re in support of black lives when you’re disabling a feature that brings awareness to racial issues?” an unnamed user reported to the company.
