A Tulsa man is headed to federal prison for 16.6 years after pleading guilty to 2nd degree murder.
Jerod Goolsby pleaded guilty during the summer.
Court documents say he and the victim, Kendale Wright, were drinking during the day on July 2, 2019 when they got into a dispute.
The documents say Goolsby said he beat up the victim but the dispute continued so Goolsby shot the victim twice.
This is now a conviction.
