They arrived at the home on County Road 620 and found the woman had been shot.
Floyd EMS took the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment, and she is expected to recover.
Deputies found four people in a wooded area across the cove who had shot into a neighboring patch of woods without a proper backstop.
Bryon Mitchell, 44, Mykysta Mitchell, 39, of Unionville, Indiana, and Timothy Fries, 43, Tracie Lambert, 44, of Summerville, South Carolina, were arrested and charged with assault. All are were released from the Cherokee County Detention Center on bond.
Sheriff Jeff Shaver said deputies got a 911 call that the woman was shot when a bullet came through a window in the Wildwood Cove area.
