90% percent of US planes to land in ‘low visibility’ at 5G airports

Nine out of ten of American commercial aircraft have been cleared to land in low visibility – using radio altimeters at airports equipped with 5G C-band masts. (US air traffic watchdog )

The decision was made despite concerns that some 5G C-band signals might disrupt low-visibility navigation tools.

Where 5G-C isn’t present, however, planes are reportedly facing zero restrictions.
