Oklahoma – 9-Year-Old Oklahoma Boy Shot And Killed In Drive-By Shooting

Oklahoma City police made an urgent plea after a 9-year-old boy was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting earlier this month.

Dumarcus Fuller Jr. was inside his home playing when he was shot. Police need help finding the gunman.

Police said they now believe it was a targeted attack on the home where the 9-year-old was murdered. Still, they have not identified a suspect.

On Oct. 4, Fuller Jr. was playing video games inside his home near Southeast 44th Street and Eastern Avenue when someone fired several rounds at the home. The 9-year-old was shot and killed.

“While I was sitting there, I heard them popping off,” said Rodney Harvey, a neighbor.

“By the time I got up and out there wasn’t any car here, but the father came out and said his kid had been shot,” Harvey said.

Fuller Jr. was a third-grade student at Bodine Elementary in OKC. Police now believe the shooting was intentional, though they wouldn’t say who the target of the drive-by was.
