Thousands of people gathered to pray at the Basilica Minore in Naga City were left speechless after a white cloud resembling the figure of Jesus appeared in the sky—right after a stormy morning suddenly cleared up.
The surreal moment happened during mass, and many believe it was a sign.
One witness said, “It felt like the skies held back for something divine.”
An apparition in the clouds has appeared over a church in the Phillippines where more than 8,000 people gathered together in song and prayer, as part of a youth day festival.
The white figure, with an outstretched arm appeared over the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Penafrancia in Naga City in June of 2025.
The festival centres around the veneration of Our Lady of Penafrancia, affectionally called (Ina) meaning Mother.
As chants filled the air, many saw it as a heavenly sign of the divine presence of Ina or Mother Mary.
