A man who turns 80 years old this week is charged with aggravated possession of child pornography.
The affidavit for Steven Phillips says investigators with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office recovered 2,057 images/videos depicting child sexual abuse material on his laptop and phone.
It says the tip came in from Microsoft to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about 3 images of concern.
The affidavit says investigators tracked them back to Phillips, who was living in Tulsa.
They say he admitted he’d been looking at and uploading hundreds of images for child porn for some time and said he was happy it was over and he knew it was wrong and he was embarrassed.
It also says he was taken for an evaluation after making statements about being ready to meet God, after having a long life.
It says the images depicted girls from toddler to 12 years old, being raped by adult men or nude in explicit poses and some of the toddlers, even had a pacifier in their mouth while being sexually abused.
