RawNews1st – Chicago Police responded to a shooting on 67th & Kenwood this afternoon, and found a 41-yr-old Security guard (Victim) and a 25-yr-old male (Offender) both shot.
CPD says the offender entered a liquor store and got into a verbal altercation with the clerk.
The security guard asked the offender to leave, then pulled out his gun and fired shots at the offender, striking him in the thigh.
Then both the security guard and offender were tussling for the gun when the security officer was shot in the thigh.
Both are in fair condition and the offender was placed into custody.
Charges are pending. A weapon was recovered at the scene.
