Six people were shot, one fatally, at downtown Louisville lounge, and police are searching for the shooter.
LMPD said the shooting happened around 3 a.m. Sunday at the Southern Restaurant and Lounge in the 300 block of Market St. That’s near the convention center and the Old Spaghetti Factory.
When officers arrived, they found a man dead at the scene.
They said there were five other victims transported to UofL Hospital. A man is in critical condition, three women and another man appear to have non-life-threatening injuries.
LMPD said there was a sixth victim found at Jewish Hospital, and their condition is not yet available.
One of the injured victims wasn’t shot, but fell during the incident.
Police said it’s unclear if the shooting happened inside or outside of the restaurant and lounge, but confirmed the shooting was connected to it.
No arrests have been made.
