Two Woodstock men are facing multiple charges after a drug bust that turned up large quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, and cash.
On Thursday afternoon, Woodstock police arrested two men as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Further investigation determined that the men were allegedly in possession of suspected blue fentanyl as well as property obtained by crime. According to police, one of the men was also allegedly in possession of suspected pink fentanyl and cocaine.
Officers seized a total of $58,600 worth of fentanyl, $2,000 worth of cocaine, and $5,430 in cash.
A 40-year-old man and a 25-year-old man are charged with possession of a scheduled 1 substance (fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.
The 25-year-old is additionally charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in schedule 1 substance (fentanyl), and failure to comply with a probation order.
