48-year-old illegal migrant from Mexico convicted of killing a man and never served prison time.
The case was out of a democratic judge’s court room. Manuel Tellez was arrested for murder in 2022, according to court docs. Tellez was accused of killing and stabbing a man 7 times.
He then left the crime scene, returned with gasoline, and doused the dead man’s body with gasoline and set it on fire, according to ICE.
He was initially charged with murder but pled guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter.
He received no prison time for his conviction and was placed back into the community with community supervision for 8 years, according to ICE. Democratic Judge Jennifer Bennet, who I have reached out to, oversaw this case.
