A level 3 sex offender, on parole, got charged with having child sexual abuse images on his phone and is now headed to prison for 35 years.

During his recent trial in Rogers County on the child pornography charge, the jurors heard opening statements and a couple of witnesses testified, then, at the break, the jurors came back into the courtroom and learned Doyle decided to plead guilty, right in the middle of his trial.
He got 20 years for the child pornography and that will run back to back with a previous 15 year sentence he got for molesting a child.
The DA’s office says they are grateful for the jurors doing their civic duty and also relieved the jurors didn’t have to be subjected to the child sexual abuse images and law enforcement had already decided not to show the videos from Doyle’s phone to the jurors, calling them “too disturbing.”
Doyle will get credit for the time he’s served in jail, since November of 2023.
He’s supposed to serve 85% of his sentence before being eligible for parole.
The child porn charge was filed in Rogers County in 2023 after the Sheriff’s Office got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child porn being shared on Instagram and the investigation led to Doyle, who was on parole at the time for a 2017 case.
I also reported on Doyle when he was charged with failing to register as a sex offender… he’s required to register for life.
This is now a conviction.
