The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement and booking photo today:
TCSO investigators booked 40-year-old Brad Smalygo into the Tulsa County Jail for misdemeanor obstruction.
Smalygo refused to comply with a search warrant that was issued by a judge in connection to an on-going stolen property investigation.
Additional charges are possible once the investigation is complete.
Smalygo is a certified Deputy at the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.
He was hired on February 18, 2014, and was placed on un-paid
administrative leave earlier today.
No additional comment or interviews will be granted, as this is a personnel matter.
This is a charge, not a conviction.
