4-Month-Old Boy In Critical Condition With Traumatic Injuries To The Head, Neck & Spine.
Sanford police said the baby boy is on life support at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill and is listed in critical condition. Police received a report from the hospital on Jan. 3 about the baby’s injuries.
Drake Conrad, 29, of Sanford, is charged with felony child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. Authorities took him to the Lee County Jail on a $150,000 secured bond.
Cassandra Conrad, 34, of Sanford, is charged with felony child neglect resulting in serious injury.
Authorities took her to the Lee County Jail on a $50,000 secured bond.
