Amber Alert issued for 4 boys taken after man kills girlfriend in Bardstown, police say.
An Amber Alert has been issued for four boys who were abducted by a 32-year-old man accused of murdering his girlfriend Friday night in the Bardstown area, police said.
The Amber Alert was issued around 10:30 p.m. by Kentucky officials.
According to the information provided, Richard Samual Gray killed his girlfriend around 5 p.m. Friday on Robin Drive in Bardstown.
Police said Gray fled the victim’s home with the four boys: 1-year-old Adrian Murray, 6-year-old Jordon, 9-year-old Jayce and 10-year-old BJ.
Gray is allegedly driving the victim’s 2014 red Jeep Patriot with KY plate 390-TBA.
According to Kentucky authorities, a neighbor witnessed the suspect load the four children in the Jeep and flee the scene.
Officials believe Gray may be on the way to either Louisville or possibly St. Louis, Missouri.
Authorities did not say whether the boys are related to the woman who was killed.
