Man killed while trimming tree in Winston-Salem: The victim was 36-years-old. Police say:
Today, around 1:50 p.m., officers responded to Belleauwood Street, near Argonne Blvd. & S. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., to assist the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
Crews helped with a rescue involving a man who had been injured while trimming a tree.
The victim, later identified as Ricardo Busto, 36, of Winston-Salem, was approximately 30’ high in the tree with another man and they were trimming a large limb when the limb struck Busto in the head.
Busto was seriously injured and held in place by the other man until the arrival of the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
Firemen were able to lower Busto to the ground at which it was discovered Busto had died due to his wound.
