On November 27, 2024 around 6:15 p.m., police say officers received a call of an assault at Moonlight Inn at 5212 Airline Drive in Houston, Texas. Upon arrival, investigators said the motel room was in disarray, and they found a woman on the bathroom floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Alicia Michele Strambler.
Allegedly, Alicia’s husband, 36-year-old Myron Strambler, attacked her inside a room at the motel. He beat her with his hands and with an unknown object.
Myron’s criminal history, includes a domestic violence case against the same victim in 2021. She was listed as his wife at the time but they were separated. It’s not clear if they were still married.
In 2022, Myron was accused of violating a protection order and that case was dismissed.
In 2009, Myron was convicted of sexually assaulting a child in Brazoria County.
Myron has now been charged with murder. A judge denied bond citing his criminal history. He was booked into the Harris County Jail.
