33-Year-Old Woman Accused Of Murdering And Robbing 4 Men She Met For Sex
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced in a press release that a Franklin County grand jury has indicted Rebecca Auborn, of Columbus, on four murder charges.
Yost alleged that Auborn met the men for sex and drugged them so that she could rob them.
“Don’t buy sex in Ohio — it ruins lives and could cost you yours,” Yost said in a statement in the press release.
Auborn faces several felony charges including four counts of murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter, five counts of aggravated robbery, five counts of felonious assault, five counts of corrupting another with drugs, one count of tampering with evidence and four counts of trafficking in drugs.
Investigators were allegedly able to connect Auborn with four overdoses and robberies that occurred between January and June. One man also survived an attempted overdose, allegedly in connection with Auborn, in December, 2022 according to the Attorney General’s Office.
The Attorney General did not give any additional information about what kinds of drugs were used on the men and how Auborn allegedly drugged them.
Auborn is currently being held in Franklin County jail. It’s not immediately clear if she has entered pleas to the charges against her or retained an attorney.
Police are still investigating and believe that there may be additional victims.
They say they are focusing their investigation on Auborn’s allegedly activities between December 2022 and August 2023 and within the area of I-71, State Route 161, Cleveland Avenue and E. 17th Avenue.
