A 31-year-old man was shot in Cottage Grove Heights on Thursday morning.
Around 8 a.m., someone approached him and fired shots in his direction in the 1200 block of East 95th Place, according to police.
The victim was shot in the left arm and was taken to the University of Chicago, where he was listed in good condition.
As Area Two Detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
