
The 30-year-old man is accused of raping a 5-year-old girl on Staten Island, police said
Dominique Giles, 30, allegedly raped the victim at a location on Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Avenue on Jan. 22, police said. The victim fled on foot after the incident, police said.
Authorities say Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital to be evaluated. Other details were not immediately clear.
Police described the suspect as about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a braided hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, police said. The NYPD released a photo of him Wednesday night.
