The 30-year-old man is accused of raping a 5-year-old girl on Staten Island, police said
Dominique Giles, 30, allegedly raped the victim at a location on Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Avenue on Jan. 22, police said. The victim fled on foot after the incident, police said. Â
Authorities say Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital to be evaluated. Other details were not immediately clear.
Police described the suspect as about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a braided hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, police said. The NYPD released a photo of him Wednesday night.
