A 3-year-old boy was killed when a piece of furniture fell on him in Little Village on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m., Chicago police officers responded to the 2800 block of South Pulaski Road for reports of an injured toddler.
The victim was later declared dead.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Officer identified him as Johan Garcia.
Area Four detectives are looking into the incident, which has been classified as a death investigation.
