According to Louisville Metro Police Department, the chase began around 1 p.m. on Thursday. That is when officers spotted a car that they said had been stolen at gunpoint.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle at Congress and 25th streets where the driver of the stolen car rammed into a detective’s vehicle and continued driving on S 25th Street.
The chase ended with the teens crashing the car at the intersection of 30th and West Jefferson.
Police said they found handguns and marijuana inside the car.
Shawn Walker, 19, Robert Page, 18 and Jakhya Herring-English, 18, were arrested.
Page and Herring-English were both arraigned on Friday morning. Walker posted his bond and is expected to be in court on Tuesday, April 4.
