3 Palestinians DEAD after violence flares with Israel in West Bank
Two Palestinians were killed in a lethal gunfight with Israeli forces in the West Bank, while another was shot dead after violent stabbing an Israeli – who is now in critical condition – on a bus.
Palestinian authorities claim another dozen of its citizens were injured during an attack by Israeli soldiers in Jenin as the death toll in recent days reaches double figures in what Israeli PM Naftali Bennett branded a “murderous wave of terror”.
Officials from Israel have met with Palestinian authority President Mahmoud Abbas and King Abdullah of Jordan to attempt to calm tensions.
