Three arrests have been made in a Sunday, July 10, 2022, targeted armed robbery that occurred in the Kroger parking lot, 826 Highway 12 West.
Marquavious Turnipseed (23) and Aliza Cox (24) have been charged with armed robbery.
Courtney Neal (31) has been charged with accessory after the fact and false identifying information.
The parties met in the Kroger parking lot after initiating a transaction on Facebook Marketplace.
Turnipseed was additionally charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute when being arrested for the armed robbery.
The Starkville Police Department is open to the public 24 hours a day and seven (7) days a week.
The lobby, plaza in front of the building, and the parking lot are under video surveillance and offer locations to transfer property sold on sites such as Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc.
