RawNews1st – At 7:20 A.M., officers from the Southwest Policing District responded to a residence in the 2500 block of South Fruit Avenue regarding a report of multiple gunshots heard within a home.
Officers arrived and found that 18-year-old Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her 3- week-old infant daughter, Celine Solorio-Rivera, had been brutally murdered, shot to death inside their bedroom.
Homicide detectives immediately opened their investigation, however to date, no promising leads have come forward.
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Valley Crime Stoppers and our Federal Partners with ATF are joining us to officially announce that they both have committed to increasing the overall reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for this horrendous crime.
Valley Crime Stoppers is increasing their reward to $10,000.00, while ATF is contributing $15,000.00, for a total of $25,000.00!
The Fresno Police Department is asking that if anyone has information regarding this murder, please contact us.
