23-Year-Old Michigan Man Killed In Shooting At Russell Industrial Center
A fatal shooting at the Russell Industrial Center in Michigan this week has left the victim’s family devastated.
Family members say 23-year-old Sam Gartley had been running a business in the sprawling building at 1600 Clay Street, and was working at the complex on Monday, June 5 when he was shot and killed.
The incident is being described as an attempted robbery.
Gartley was employed as a mechanical technician at Tim’s Complete Auto Maintenance in Shelby Township.
No further information on the circumstance of Gartley’s death were available, Detroit Police Cpl. Dan Donakowski said Wednesday night.
Bobi Gartley, the victim’s mother, is asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
