21-Year-Old North Carolina Woman Dead After Shooting
A 21-year-old North Carolina woman has died after a shooting in Greensboro, according to online reports.
Officers were called to the area near the 4500 block of West Market Street for an assault at 2:43 a.m. on Sunday. Police said they found one person shot and they were taken to the hospital with series injuries.
Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Kayla Peterson.
Peterson died from her injuries and the case will be investigated as a homicide.
No suspect information was available.
