Police said a “large commotion” and reported shooting outside of a Fort Worth movie theater led to two people getting injured and hospitalized early Friday.
Both victims, who are female, were alive Friday morning, but their conditions were not known, according to a police news release.
Officers around 2 a.m. were dispatched to the 6300 block of Hulen Bend Boulevard in southwest Fort Worth, where there was a report of a “large commotion in the parking lot” near an AMC movie theater, the release said.
When the officers arrived, the incident was over, but police saw a female getting loaded into a vehicle. A short time later, police said, a female was brought to Medical City Hospital with a gunshot wound.
A second female shooting victim then was brought by private vehicle to Harris Southwest Hospital, and then flown to John Peter Smith Hospital, police said.
Police were still investigating how incident happened, and no arrests have been made.
