There is a large police presence outside the Regional One Medical Center after two officers were shot in the Whitehaven area Thursday night.

According to Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis, officers responded to an armed person call in the area around 7 p.m. The suspect shot an officer at close range.
Davis said one officer was shot twice and another officer was shot once. The suspect was also shot three times.
All of them are in critical but stable condition.
