2 arrested for a Friday night Greensboro murder; according to police:
Friday, around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on the 1900 block of Rubywood Street, not farm from the Greensboro Urban Loop & McKnight Mill Road.
When police arrived, officers located Jayda Cromartie, 25, suffering from one gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
Officers responding to the scene located the suspect vehicle in the area and detained two men: Ryan Isley, 28, and Kenny Isley, 55. Police have not confirmed their relation, if any.
Ryan was charged with one count of first-degree murder. Kenny \was charged with one count of accessory after the fact to murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Both men are in the Guilford County Jail.
This is the city’s 12th homicide of 2025.
