Bixby Police arrest a 19 year old, accused of speeding, driving the wrong way, running from the police and crashing, leading to the death of one of his passengers.
The affidavit for Gabriel Henson, says on July 22nd around midnight, officers got a call about an underage party at a park.
They say they saw the driver of a BMW, speeding, the wrong way around a roundabout and tried to pull over the driver, who didn’t stop, but, took off, then lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over several times.
Police say when they arrived, Henson told them, Marleny Loehr had been driving.
She later died from her injuries.
It says police talked to the other 2 juvenile passengers and other witnesses who said, Henson had been the driver.
It says Henson initially denied he was driving but later admitted he was supposed to be the designated driver for Loehr and the 2 juveniles and they’d gone out to dinner, then to the park and when the cops showed up, people scattered.
It says when Henson saw the police lights in the mirror, he lost control and crashed.
He’s been charged with murder, having no driver’s license, having open containers in the car and going the wrong way.
