RawNews1st– At approximately 8:00 p.m., an inmate escaped while participating in his supervised community programming and did not return to the Manitoba Youth Centre as required.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation. Although this male is now an adult, investigators obtained a Court Order authorizing the release of his identity as his original charges occurred when he was a youth.
He is considered dangerous. The public is cautioned not to approach him. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 911.
