A 17-year-old boy is facing charges in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred last fall on the Near West Side.
According to police, the offender was apprehended on Monday after being identified as the person who carjacked a 35-year-old woman with a “dangerous weapon” on September 24, 2022.
The victim’s car was stolen in the 1500 block of West Monroe Street.
