17-year-old arrested after “one of the largest drug seizures” 325 kilograms of cocaine seized valued at $7 million
On Monday, a 17-year-old male youth was arrested and was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, police said.
Following the arrest, police said the drug enforcement unit executed a search warrant at a storage facility in Toronto and located 325 kilograms of cocaine, or about 715 pounds.

The teen can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Durham police didn’t provide any more details on the investigation, such as the location of the storage facility or where the arrest was made.
Police are asking for anyone with information to contact the drug enforcement unit.
