UPDATE: On July 7, 2024, police say 17-year-old Adiah Roberson shot and killed San Antonio, Texas Sonic manager, 33-year-old Daniel Shrewsbury, following an argument. Roberson and two others were denied food because they were using fake money.
Police say as Shrewsbury tried to take a picture of their license plate, 27-year-old Joshua Joseph told him he was going to get shot. That’s when police say Roberson exited the vehicle and opened fire on Shrewsbury, who died on scene.
Joseph was arrested in August and charged with murder.
A $5,000 reward was offered for any information leading to Roberson’s capture. U.S. Marshals confirmed that a tip led investigators to the Dallas apartment complex.
On October 22, around 1:30 p.m., the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Roberson in a Dallas apartment complex parking lot. She was booked into the Dallas County jail on the charges of murder and forgery.
Investigators believe Roberson went from San Antonio to Austin and then to Dallas. It’s still unclear how long she had been staying in Dallas.
Roberson’s bond is set at $520,000. She is waiting to be transferred down to San Antonio.
